About Jennifer

My Story

Embarking on a journey of self-discovery and healing can be both challenging and rewarding. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Expressive Arts Therapist I embrace life's complexities with a heartfelt understanding that our deepest challenges often reveal our greatest strengths.

One of the biggest lies I’ve ever believed is that if I did all the right things, made the correct choices, and lived the right kind of life, then nothing bad would happen. Yet,  I discovered at a young age that I could endure incredibly difficult circumstances, that life offers no guarantees, and that anything can happen at any moment. I also discovered that being in the middle of something is different than being on the other side of it, and that healing and cultivating resilience is possible. Healing from trauma extends beyond the initial event or its resulting changes to our nervous system; it also involves making sense of the world in a fundamentally different way, experiencing more deeply, and grappling with the complexities of a world that increasingly demands abandon who we are and what we know in search of belonging.

In embracing my challenges, I've learned that growth often lies in the heart of struggle. My practice is a reflection of this journey – contemplative, creative, and deeply personal. I offer my clients not just therapy but a shared understanding, a connection rooted in the mutual experience of navigating life's complexities. Fuelled by a deep-seated curiosity and passion for life-long learning, I am committed to guiding others on their paths, helping them find their own resilience and purpose.

As your therapist, I'm here to walk with you on your journey, offering a space where your story is heard, your challenges are acknowledged, and your personal transformation is celebrated.
